Evangelizator Protestens Andrew Brunson Orans pro Praefeco Trump

Amici, Americani, Compatriotae,

Something that one would NEVER see in the Obama White House where gangster Jay-Z and booty twerking Beyonce partied in decadent abandon: US pastor freed from Turkey prays with Trump in Oval Office. For all his faults and marital infidelities, Donald Trump has invited God back into the White House, and the Musloids and gangster sex perverts with whom Obama ingratiated himself are out. Maybe Donald Trump is more like King David than we may have originally thought. After all, King David was well known for his adulterous affair with Bathsheba and his murder of Uriah the Hittite, as Donald Trump is well known for his womanizing and crudity. Yet King David was called a man after God's own heart because he repented. Maybe Donald Trump repented. Look at that photograph below. What does it say? Yes, this is an excellent thing, regardless that one is a Catholic or Orthodox or Protestant. God is back in the White House and the liberal progressive feminist demons are out.

Auctoritas Presidentialis Exsecutiva de Indepentia Energiae

President Trump
Amici, Americani, et Compatriotae,

On March 28, 2017 President Donald Trump issued a "Presidential Executive Order on Promoting Energy Independence and Economic Growth." The intent of this order are to reduce or eliminate entirely those regulations which provide no objective public good but which serve to constrict the supply of low cost energy to the public. This order states in part:

(b) It is further in the national interest to ensure that the Nation's electricity is affordable, reliable, safe, secure, and clean, and that it can be produced from coal, natural gas, nuclear material, flowing water, and other domestic sources, including renewable sources.

Sec. 2. Immediate Review of All Agency Actions that Potentially Burden the Safe, Efficient Development of Domestic Energy Resources. (a) The heads of agencies shall review all existing regulations, orders, guidance documents, policies, and any other similar agency actions (collectively, agency actions) that potentially burden the development or use of domestically produced energy resources, with particular attention to oil, natural gas, coal, and nuclear energy resources. Such review shall not include agency actions that are mandated by law, necessary for the public interest, and consistent with the policy set forth in section 1 of this order.

One would hope that this would do some good in removing the excessive regulatory burden on nuclear energy which for 40 years has been exacerbated by the US NRC giving acquiescence to every precautionary principle proposal of the liberal progressive feminist left. For decades the Marxist left has opposed nuclear energy tooth and nail, and that opposition has led to the ascendancy of natural gas. Now the Marxist left has a new cause - anthropogenic global warming from burning fossil fuel. Not for one minute do I believe they will change their tactics in demanding a return to a 19th century style of life where without electricity the life saving products of modern technology cannot exist: air conditioning, refrigeration, flowing water, sewage cleanup, night-time lighting, etc. It is time to smash the lie that is liberalism back into the sewer of refuse from which it came crawling out.

Quomodo Trump Accidit?

Amici, Americani, Compatriotae,

This one post being circulated in the public domain at Facebook explains how Trump "happened," and while it is anonymously addressed, its intended target is liberal progressive feminist eco-activists - Democrats by any other name. And for the record, I voted for Darrell Castle of the Constitution Party, NOT Donald Trump of the Republican Party.

Cogitationes Amici de Ceremonia Inaugurale Praesidentiale

Amici, Americani, Compatriotae,

Below are the reflections of a friend on Facebook about the Presidential Inaugural Ceremony conducted today for Donald J. Trump. While I voted for a third party candidate - Darrell Castle of the Constitution Party - I nevertheless fully agree with my friend.

I came home tonight and made my two oldest watch President Trump's speech with me. For several reasons.

1. Since Ronald Reagan's first inaugural I don't remember such a pro-American, upbeat, pro-God, and unashamedly AMERICA FIRST speech by a President.

2. Our children need to understand the idea of "free trade" that has been enacted in our life times is anything but that. This country in my life has not practiced capitalism, free trade, and truly American ideals. We have been abused, sold out, lied to, and stolen from. Our interests have not been even considered. Our lives have been viewed as worthless. Our treasure has been given away for nothing.

3. They need to understand that despite the protests, the hand wringing, the assassination talk that HERE in this nation we act in a civilized and honorable fashion. No matter what the least intelligent and disgusting among us do. WE do not act like that. We do not burn and loot. We do not block traffic and threaten people. We may at some point have to take up arms to defend our God given rights but WE as Americans do not act like this.

May God bless President Trump and grant him patience, wisdom, and guidance for the times ahead. May God work thru him and in him. May God grant us all peace and prosperity and the opportunity to once again bring this nation to it's rightful place as the shining example of freedom, prosperity, and protection that it once was.

It is once again Morning in America and I for one just want the opportunity to work, succeed, and prosper.

REMARKS OF PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP – AS PREPARED FOR DELIVERY
INAUGURAL ADDRESS
FRIDAY, JANUARY 20, 2017
WASHINGTON, D.C.
As Prepared for Delivery –

Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans, and people of the world: thank you.

We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people.

Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for years to come.

We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will get the job done.

Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition. They have been magnificent.

Today’s ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one Administration to another, or from one party to another – but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American People.

For too long, a small group in our nation’s Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost.

Washington flourished – but the people did not share in its wealth.

Politicians prospered – but the jobs left, and the factories closed.

The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country.

Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation’s Capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.

That all changes – starting right here, and right now, because this moment is your moment: it belongs to you.

It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America.

This is your day. This is your celebration.

And this, the United States of America, is your country.

What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people.

January 20th 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again.

The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.

Everyone is listening to you now.

You came by the tens of millions to become part of a historic movement the likes of which the world has never seen before.

At the center of this movement is a crucial conviction: that a nation exists to serve its citizens.

Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves.

These are the just and reasonable demands of a righteous public.

But for too many of our citizens, a different reality exists: Mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities; rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation; an education system, flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of knowledge; and the crime and gangs and drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential.

This American carnage stops right here and stops right now.

We are one nation – and their pain is our pain. Their dreams are our dreams; and their success will be our success. We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny.

The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all Americans.

For many decades, we’ve enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry;

Subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military;

We've defended other nation’s borders while refusing to defend our own;

And spent trillions of dollars overseas while America's infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay.

We’ve made other countries rich while the wealth, strength, and confidence of our country has disappeared over the horizon.

One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores, with not even a thought about the millions upon millions of American workers left behind.

The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed across the entire world.

But that is the past. And now we are looking only to the future.

We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power.

From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land.

From this moment on, it’s going to be America First.

Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American families.

We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies, and destroying our jobs. Protection will lead to great prosperity and strength.

I will fight for you with every breath in my body – and I will never, ever let you down.

America will start winning again, winning like never before.

We will bring back our jobs. We will bring back our borders. We will bring back our wealth. And we will bring back our dreams.

We will build new roads, and highways, and bridges, and airports, and tunnels, and railways all across our wonderful nation.

We will get our people off of welfare and back to work – rebuilding our country with American hands and American labor.

We will follow two simple rules: Buy American and Hire American.

We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world – but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first.

We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to follow.

We will reinforce old alliances and form new ones – and unite the civilized world against Radical Islamic Terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the Earth.

At the bedrock of our politics will be a total allegiance to the United States of America, and through our loyalty to our country, we will rediscover our loyalty to each other.

When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.

The Bible tells us, “how good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.”

We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity.

When America is united, America is totally unstoppable.

There should be no fear – we are protected, and we will always be protected.

We will be protected by the great men and women of our military and law enforcement and, most importantly, we are protected by God.

Finally, we must think big and dream even bigger.

In America, we understand that a nation is only living as long as it is striving.

We will no longer accept politicians who are all talk and no action – constantly complaining but never doing anything about it.

The time for empty talk is over.

Now arrives the hour of action.

Do not let anyone tell you it cannot be done. No challenge can match the heart and fight and spirit of America.

We will not fail. Our country will thrive and prosper again.

We stand at the birth of a new millennium, ready to unlock the mysteries of space, to free the Earth from the miseries of disease, and to harness the energies, industries and technologies of tomorrow.

A new national pride will stir our souls, lift our sights, and heal our divisions.

It is time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget: that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American Flag.

And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky, they fill their heart with the same dreams, and they are infused with the breath of life by the same almighty Creator.

So to all Americans, in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, and from ocean to ocean, hear these words:

You will never be ignored again.

Your voice, your hopes, and your dreams, will define our American destiny. And your courage and goodness and love will forever guide us along the way.

Together, We Will Make America Strong Again.

We Will Make America Wealthy Again.

We Will Make America Proud Again.

We Will Make America Safe Again.

And, Yes, Together, We Will Make America Great Again. Thank you, God Bless You, And God Bless America.

Pro neque Donald Trump neque Hillaria Clinton Censui

Donald Trump
President-Elect of the United States
Amici, Americani, Compatriotae,

As long time readers already know, I voted for neither Donald Trump nor Hillary Clinton. Instead, I cast my vote for Ben Carson during the Republican Primary Election in my home state, and then for Darrell Castle of the Constitution Party in the General Election. I reviewed the platforms of the major parties: Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green and Constitution. I voted based on which platform I thought was closest to the teaching of Holy Mother Church. I did not vote based on which candidate was most popular or most likely to win. I also did not vote based on empty promises to serve either economic prosperity and national security, or social justice, the common good and planetary peace. The primary non-negotiable issues were these:

  • No abortion
  • No homosexual marriage
  • No embryonic stem cell research
  • No euthanasia
  • No human cloning

Promises that politicians make to improve society so as to obviate the need of abortion or other such heinous crime meant nothing to me. Righteous and holiness, conversion and repentance come before, not after health and prosperity. Accusations of racism and homophobia and misogyny likewise meant nothing to me.

  • My wife is Filipino and I Caucasian; we are both members of the human race. Differences in the melanin of our skin cells are accidents of birth, and differences in culture are accidents of where we were raised as children.
  • Some of my closest friends in the past and one roommate were homosexual. Several co-workers were likewise homosexual. My friendship with them has nothing to do with their sexual preference, nor does that change the fact that homosexual activity is as sinful as adultery and fornication.
  • Feminism and being accused of misogyny likewise meant nothing to me; my favorite heroines include Judith of Biblical fame who decapitated evil Holofernes and St. Joan of Arc; the difference between femininity - true womanhood - and the androgyny of feminism is quite clear. I love women for I am married to one.

Basically I tried to bear in mind what Pope Benedict XVI wrote in Sacramentum Caritatis:

Here it is important to consider what the Synod Fathers described as eucharistic consistency, a quality which our lives are objectively called to embody. Worship pleasing to God can never be a purely private matter, without consequences for our relationships with others: it demands a public witness to our faith. Evidently, this is true for all the baptized, yet it is especially incumbent upon those who, by virtue of their social or political position, must make decisions regarding fundamental values, such as respect for human life, its defence from conception to natural death, the family built upon marriage between a man and a woman, the freedom to educate one's children and the promotion of the common good in all its forms (230). These values are not negotiable. Consequently, Catholic politicians and legislators, conscious of their grave responsibility before society, must feel particularly bound, on the basis of a properly formed conscience, to introduce and support laws inspired by values grounded in human nature (231). There is an objective connection here with the Eucharist (cf. 1 Cor 11:27-29). Bishops are bound to reaffirm constantly these values as part of their responsibility to the flock entrusted to them (232)....
...As I have had occasion to say, it is not the proper task of the Church to engage in the political work of bringing about the most just society possible; nonetheless she cannot and must not remain on the sidelines in the struggle for justice. The Church "has to play her part through rational argument and she has to reawaken the spiritual energy without which justice, which always demands sacrifice, cannot prevail and prosper.

In a 2002 Doctrinal Note approved by Pope John Paul II called The Participation of Catholics in Political Life, Cardinal Ratzinger wrote “a well-formed Christian conscience does not permit one to vote for a political program or an individual law which contradicts the fundamental contents of faith and morals.” He explained:

When political activity comes up against moral principles that do not admit of exception, compromise or derogation, the Catholic commitment becomes more evident and laden with responsibility. In the face of fundamental and inalienable ethical demands, Christians must recognize that what is at stake is the essence of the moral law, which concerns the integral good of the human person. This is the case with laws concerning abortion and euthanasia (not to be confused with the decision to forgo extraordinary treatments, which is morally legitimate). Such laws must defend the basic right to life from conception to natural death. In the same way, it is necessary to recall the duty to respect and protect the rights of the human embryo. Analogously, the family needs to be safeguarded and promoted, based on monogamous marriage between a man and a woman, and protected in its unity and stability in the face of modern laws on divorce: in no way can other forms of cohabitation be placed on the same level as marriage, nor can they receive legal recognition as such. The same is true for the freedom of parents regarding the education of their children; it is an inalienable right recognized also by the Universal Declaration on Human Rights. In the same way, one must consider society’s protection of minors and freedom from modern forms of slavery (drug abuse and prostitution, for example). In addition, there is the right to religious freedom and the development of an economy that is at the service of the human person and of the common good, with respect for social justice, the principles of human solidarity and subsidiarity, according to which “the rights of all individuals, families, and organizations and their practical implementation must be acknowledged”. Finally, the question of peace must be mentioned. Certain pacifistic and ideological visions tend at times to secularize the value of peace, while, in other cases, there is the problem of summary ethical judgments which forget the complexity of the issues involved. Peace is always “the work of justice and the effect of charity”. It demands the absolute and radical rejection of violence and terrorism and requires a constant and vigilant commitment on the part of all political leaders.

Therefore, having read these and other things, it became clear that voting for the candidates of a political party which advocates the sanctification of homosexual relations as marriage and the legality of the infanticide of the unborn cannot be supported. That eliminated the Democratic, Libertarian and Green Party candidates. Hillary Clinton, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein all openly supported intrinsic moral evils. That left Donald Trump and Darrell Castle. Of the two, I did not trust Trump's newfound conservatism to be authentic, and I was distrustful of RINOs - Republicans in Name Only. So I vote for Darrell Castle (whom I knew would lose).

Now on election night my wife and I stayed awake until the wee hours of the morning watching the returns on Fox News. When it became apparent that Trump won, I did breathe a sigh of relief because while my chosen candidate did not win, I knew that at least we would not have a continuation of the past eight years where Christians are marginalized and sued in the public square, heinous sins like abortion and homosexuality are lauded and paraded about, and borders are opened for terrorists to enter the country in the stream of illegal aliens.

Nevertheless, let me be clear:

  • I believe in freedom of religion for Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Taoists, Shintoists or whatever in the public square. I also believe in leaving homosexuals to live their lives in peace. But nowhere in that is it right to force Christians to violate their consciences.
  • I also believe in the sanctity of life. A baby's body is not a woman's body. If a woman and the man who wants to have conjugal relations with her do NOT want a baby, then they need to refrain from sexual intercourse. What are we? Wild baboons given to the lust of our passions, having to titillate our genitals and then abdicate our responsibility and evade our accountability for the resulting pregnancy? If we are so logical and scientific and rational, then why are we so incapable of using the brains that God gave us?
  • And lastly I believe in welcoming the alien. I took two Filipina immigrants into my apartment free of charge before I married and provided for their needs without government reimbursement. But they were LEGAL immigrants and therein lies the difference.

So now Donald Trump is President, and I did not chose him. In response young millennials in large cities like Seattle, Portland, LA, NYC, etc. did not just protest but destroyed property, threatened and harmed police, and attacked those on the right of the political spectrum. Then came the excuses about why the left lost the election:

  • Jim Comey's re-opening of Hillary's email sever scandal ruined her chances
  • Fake news from right wing sources cause Hillary's loss
  • The Electoral College caused her loss
  • The Russians hacking into DNC email servers did it

Excuse after excuse was offered up, and an end-run to intimidate the Electoral College was made. Now we have cries, "Trump - not my President." Imagine if the right had done that with Barack Obama. St. Paul however tells us what the truth of the matter is in Romans 13:1-7:

Let every person be subordinate to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been established by God. Therefore, whoever resists authority opposes what God has appointed, and those who oppose it will bring judgment upon themselves. For rulers are not a cause of fear to good conduct, but to evil.b Do you wish to have no fear of authority? Then do what is good and you will receive approval from it, for it is a servant of God for your good. But if you do evil, be afraid, for it does not bear the sword without purpose; it is the servant of God to inflict wrath on the evildoer. Therefore, it is necessary to be subject not only because of the wrath but also because of conscience. This is why you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. Pay to all their dues, taxes to whom taxes are due, toll to whom toll is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.

That means that like it or not, the authority of Donald Trump as President is established by God. We know this to be true because of the precedence established by what the prophet Isaiah said regarding pagan King Cyrus of Persia in Isaiah 45:1-2:

Thus says the LORD to his anointed, Cyrus,
whose right hand I grasp,
Subduing nations before him,
stripping kings of their strength,
Opening doors before him,
leaving the gates unbarred:
I will go before you
and level the mountains;
Bronze doors I will shatter,
iron bars I will snap.

Even our first Pope, St. Peter, writes in 1st Peter 2:13-17 the following:

Be subject to every human institution for the Lord’s sake, whether it be to the king as supreme
or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the approval of those who do good.
For it is the will of God that by doing good you may silence the ignorance of foolish people.
Be free, yet without using freedom as a pretext for evil, but as slaves of God.
Give honor to all, love the community, fear God, honor the king.

And David before he became king acted in this way. King Saul had been chasing him throughout the countryside to kill him, and when David has a chance to retaliate, he said in 1st Samuel 24:7:

The LORD forbid that I should do such a thing to my master, the LORD’s anointed, to lay a hand on him, for he is the LORD’s anointed.

Therefore, whether I like him or not, Donald Trump IS our President and as Catholic Christians we are required to respect him and pray for him. Speaking of which, at every Mass at Our Lady of Grace Father Kirby always includes a prayer for the President and the President-Elect. Furthermore, the 1928 Anglican Book of Common Prayer has an excellent prayer for those in authority. It would do well for us to remember this, especially considering that both St. Paul and St. Peter lived in a time when evil Roman Emperors persecuted Christians and yet required Christian obedience to Roman authority.

ALMIGHTY God, whose kingdom is everlasting and power infinite; Have mercy upon this whole land; and so rule the hearts of thy servants THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, The Governor of this State, and all others in authority, that they, knowing whose ministers they are, may above all things seek thy honour and glory; and that we and all the People, duly considering whose authority they bear, may faithfully and obediently honour them, according to thy blessed Word and ordinance; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with thee and the Holy Ghost liveth and reigneth ever, one God, world without end. Amen.

Avia Constitutionum Nuntiorum contra Donald Trump

Amici, Americani, Compatriotae,

The title of this post in Latin means, "The Prejudice of the News Organizations against Donald Trump." Avia denotes in Latin a deep-seated, deeply rooted prejudice. About this is what I wish to talk.

President-Elect Donald Trump
Normally after awakening in the morning I review the news on the usual set of purveyors, including Yahoo and those organizations feeding news into Yahoo such as AP, Reuters, ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, etc. Without fail what these organizations report about Donald Trump is uniformly biased against him, his family and his staff. Never did these organizations treat Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton in this manner. While negative articles may have been published, they were rare and in a minority. But the articles on Trump and those associated with him are invariably vicious, mean-spirited and full of calumny. While Obama and Hillary are given the benefit of the doubt, imputed to Trump is the certainty of guilt of avarice and malice. And one excuse after another is being raised for the Democrats' loss of the election:

  • James Comey caused the loss by re-opening the email investigation into Hillary Clinton because of Anthony Weiner and his wife, Hillary's adviser, Huma Abedin (never mind that Democrats praised him when he refused to charge Hillary with jeopardizing national security by using private email servers for classified information)
  • The electoral college arrangement is unfair and anti-Democratic in that it allows a candidate to win via succeeding in a majority of sovereign States even while he loses the popular vote (never mind that the USA is NOT a Democracy but a Federated Constitutional Republic of separate sovereign States where each individual One has an equal say in the Federal Government regardless its size - winning in a few few major cities should not dictatorially determine the government for the rest of the nation)
  • The Russians caused the loss by hacking into Clinton's email and doing some unspecified something that resulted in eventual defeat (never mind that Clinton herself and the Democrats in general never properly secured her email - besides, what are the Russians going to do with the hacking? Release to the American public what Hillary really said about the deplorables whom she so self-righteously despised?)

Yet the abounding examples of the legacy of Obama and Hillary which led to Hillary's defeat are ignored. Both supported, advocated and worked for the murder of the unborn and the sanctification of sterile sexual perversion. And both those things the news media regards as sacraments under the specious pretexts of the right to choose and marriage equality. Both these persons have weakened the United States throughout the world, emasculated our local police and the military, increased the scope and power of big government, aided and abetted illegal immigration and the influx of unvetted Muslims who could be terrorist, ingratiated our nation with principalities of Islamic fanaticism, alienated our friends such as the UK and Israel, interfered with free elections in Israel (where thankfully Benjamin Netanayahu won regardless of Obama machinations to the contrary), fanned the flames of discontent and racial prejudice among black populations.....the list is seemingly without end.

Now what has Donald Trump done? He has said mean, sexist and sometimes idiotic things. But what has he done? He has run a successful business for decades and has raised a successful family whose children love and adore him. That is what he has done. Yes, he is thrice married, which (based on what Jesus said in Matthew chapter 19) technically makes him an adulterer and no better than William Jefferson Clinton (Hillary's husband) who himself had sexual encounters with Monica Lewinski in the Oval Office when he was President (the reporting of which his wife Hillary called a vast right wing conspiracy).

So what is Trump doing now regardless of his adultery? He is selecting people to his cabinet from the military and big business who have proven to be successful themselves. Are those from the military anti-Islamic? Thankfully yes; with some happy exceptions like righteous King Abdullah II and his wife Queen Rania of Jordan, Muslims have spread their hateful religion by the sword since the mid seventh century AD. North Africa and the Middle East were all once Christian, and Muslims changed that not by dialog and persuasion but by the sword, indiscriminately murdering Christians and Jews in their wake or placing them under the servitude of dhimmitude. Are those from big business whom Trump selected rich and well-known elsewhere in the world? Again, thankfully yes; we need successful people with real world experience across the globe to represent and defend our interests. Limp-wrist, lackadaisical politicians who never had a real job in their life (like current Secretary of State John Kerry) have failed and given economic ascendancy to enemies such as communist China which forces abortions for any second baby, and persecutes and maligns the Church, controlling who may be bishop and who may not. It is time therefore that adults are put in charge instead of starry-eyed idealists who never matured out of the "hippie-ism" of their teenage years.

Now all this said, I publicly declare that I never voted for Donald Trump. In the primaries I voted for Ben Carson and in the General Election I voted for Darrell Castle of the Constitution Party. I did so because of the positions those men held on the issues; their stance was the most Christian I could find. And their platforms were closest to the teaching of Holy Mother Church. And yes, while I regarded Hillary Clinton as a resurrected Livia Drusilla Augusta Caesar, I saw Donald Trump as a resurrected Marcus Licinius Crassus. The later may be an unprincipled, foul mouthed, wheeling-dealing, playboy gambler. But the former is surely a murderous pathological liar. Therefore, realizing my selected candidate could not win (I was under no illusions), I was relieved that Trump won the general election instead of Hillary. More babies would be saved from vivisection in the womb, their internal organs being sold on the open market by Planned Parenthood which is funded by tax dollars arranged by Barack Obama. Sodomites would be less able to shove their filth down the throats of others. The military and police would be restored to their rightful places of honor and respect. Islam would be confronted and stopped. The flames of racism would be doused with water. And the free market would be allowed to function as intended.

Donald Trump is no paragon of virtue and certainly cannot accomplish all that he has promised. But neither was Cyrus, King of Persia in the Bible, likewise himself paragon of virtue either. Yet in spite of the fact that Cyrus was a pagan, had many wives and concubines (the ultimate misogynist), and would execute without trial those opposed to his rule (sort of like Rodrigo Duterte on steroids), he set things up to allow the Jews to return from exile in Babylon to their homeland in Judea, rebuilding the wall of Jerusalem and the great Temple itself when Yahweh was worshiped. Thus the prophet Isaiah called him the Lord's Anointed. In the sense that (as St Paul says in one of his epistles) all authority comes from God, Trump is the Lord's Anointed even as Hillary is like Jezebel, wife of King Ahab, who arranged for the murder of righteous Naboth the Jezreelite so that she and her husband could take possession of his vineyard. To the extent therefore that Trump executes his duty as President consistent with that anointing will he be judged as leader. The same is true of Obama. To the extent that Obama has governed consistent with the principle that all authority comes from God will he be judged, first by history in this world and finally by God Himself in the next. Obama's track record is not so good. Let that be a warning to Trump or any would-be leader. But let us at least give Trump a chance to govern. Let us give him the benefit of the doubt. God gave pagan King Cyrus a chance. Are we any better than He?

Factio Americana Solidarietatis

Michael Maturen
ASP Pesidential Candidate
Amici, Americani, Compatriotae,

During the Presidential Debate on the evening of October 19th, I was made aware of the existence of a new political party on the national landscape: The American Solidarity Party (ASP). Its platform is reprinted below. Its candidates for office include the following:

VICE-PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE - Juan Muñoz (VP Candidate Acceptance Speech)

That liberal progressive Democrat so-called Catholic Apologist Mark the bombastic hypocrite Shea who defames, vilifies and condemns anything conservative has endorsed Michael Maturen is sufficient for me to disregard this political party and its candidates. Nevertheless, without further ado, here is the ASP platform.

Juan Munoz
ASP VP Candidate
Religion in the Public Square

We acknowledge that the Judeo-Christian worldview has played a positive role in the history and culture of the United States of America. We advocate for laws that allow people of all faiths to practice their religion without intimidation and deplore aggressive secularism that seeks to remove religion from the public sphere.

Economy & Finance

The ASP believes that political economy (economics) is a branch of political ethics. We reject models of economic behavior based on greed and naked self-interest.

To build an economy that is fair, transparent, and democratic, we support models of production and distribution that are local, responsible, and sustainable.

We support the creation of family-owned businesses and worker cooperatives. We oppose regulations designed to inhibit competition from smaller firms.

We call for the repeal of subsidies which encourage urban sprawl and discourage local farming and production.

We advocate a tax shift from earned income (wages and interest) to unearned income (economic rent). We propose to shift the burden of property taxes from buildings and improvements to ground rents.

We call for the direct payment of surplus revenue to the public as a Citizens’ Dividend.

We support the creation of sovereign wealth funds in financial markets.

We call for increased regulation of private pension plans, with greater transparency regarding fees collected by fund managers.

We oppose the privatization of Social Security, and advocate a return to the use of the funds generated from the program to be solely used for the payments out to recipients, rather than the current use of the funds for many purposes.

The ASP regards money and credit as public utilities. We support increased oversight of the banking industry and personal accountability for fraudulent behavior.

We call for amendment of the Federal Reserve Act to enable direct investment in public works.

We support the creation of public investment banks and private credit unions at the state and local levels.

We advocate deflation of the student-debt bubble through partial forgiveness of student loans and restoration of bankruptcy-protection for debtors.

We support stricter controls on consumer credit, including limits on interest and regulation of credit-card companies and payday-loan and title-loan stores.

Health & Welfare

The ASP advocates the replacement of privately-funded health insurance with a decentralized ‘single-payer’ system.

We oppose the privatization of Social Security and other public pension systems.

We oppose the sudden elimination or reduction of income supports such as welfare, food stamps, and unemployment insurance, when no other safety net is in place.

We call for the gradual replacement of needs-based welfare and assistance payments with a Citizens’ Dividend, funded by the collection of unearned income.

The Dignity of Work

The ASP recognizes the right of workers to form associations in pursuit of their economic interests. We oppose union-busting laws that interfere with the relationship between employers and labor organizations.

In the enforcement of anti-trust and consumer-protection laws, we will work to maintain a level playing field between labor, management, and consumers.

We insist on legal protection for occupational safety and compensation, equal access to employment, good faith in hiring and retention, and paid leave for illness and child-rearing.

Crime

The ASP believes that preventing and punishing crime is an essential public service. We oppose the privatization of law-enforcement and penal institutions.

As public servants, officers of the peace should be held to the highest standards of professionalism. We support the creation of civilian review boards at all levels of law-enforcement.

We oppose legal requirements in sentencing, such as three-strikes laws, which result in the arbitrary, long-term imprisonment of non-violent criminals.

We support the decriminalization (not the legalization) of recreational drugs. Funds currently expended on the “war on drugs” should be directed toward prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation.

We oppose the participation of public agencies in legal vices, such as gambling and the sale of recreational drugs and alcohol. Where gambling is permitted, windfalls should be taxed as a form of unearned income.

We call for more vigorous enforcement of laws against human trafficking.

We support the implementation of the so-called "Nordic model" for dealing with prostitution by imposing stricter and more uniform penalties for the purchase of sex, decriminalizing the selling of sex, and providing viable employment alternatives to those who are exploited as prostitutes.

The ASP regards pornography as a harm to society and opposes the exploitation of human persons that pornography entails.

We call for greater legal responsibility on the part of creditors and vendors for vigilance against fraudulent activity, such as identity theft.

Defense

We call for an end to unilateral military intervention in foreign countries and the closing of US military bases abroad, where these are not required to protect diplomatic missions or to meet explicit treaty obligations.

We oppose the use of lethal drones against civilian populations in neutral countries.

We condemn the use of torture – by whatever method, for whatever purpose, and by whatever euphemism it may be called – by any representative of the United States or in its interests. Those who participate in or authorize torture should be stripped of position, prosecuted, and punished to the fullest extent of the law.

We call for the prohibition of private arms sales from the United States to foreign countries.

The ASP believes that a less aggressive foreign policy will reduce the threat of terrorism within our borders. In the short term, we call for a review of the effectiveness of centralized and specialized anti-terrorist agencies, such as the TSA.

We call for the repeal of the Patriot Act and the re-instatement of basic civil rights, including the right of citizens to a speedy trial in civilian courts. Secret tribunals (such as the FISA court) must be abolished and military courts returned to their proper role. Foreign non-combatants must not be detained in American facilities or remanded by agents of the U.S. government to foreign prisons.

We oppose government censorship of the media and the internet.

We condemn the indiscriminate and unauthorized collection of data from the phones and computers of American citizens and foreign nationals.

We oppose laws and trade agreements that allow the monitoring of personal internet usage for non-criminal offenses, such as copyright infringement. We call for the periodic destruction of internet histories and other user data collected by internet providers, unless these are specifically required by a court order.

My View

My view is simple:

·        The twin principles of the individual right to life and the non-initiation of force are sacrosanct. When the nation’s laws place those principles first, then both outright physical violence and the covert economic violence of theft in the market place and stock market are proscribed.
·
Each person is individually responsible and accountable for the consequences of his actions; government does NOT exist to bail him out of his own folly.
o   “Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” Galatians 6:7
·
Abortion, sodomy, lesbianism, adultery, fornication, and contraception are proscribed along with murder and theft
·
A man is entitled to the fruit of his labor; while taxation to support necessary government function in defense of the common good is necessary and Biblical, appropriation by government without consent for pet causes in the social justice arena is theft from those who earn their wealth to give to those who refuse to work is morally reprehensible.
o   “For the same reason you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. Pay all of them their dues, taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.” Romans 13:6-7
o   “For even when we were with you, we gave you this command: If anyone will not work, let him not eat.” 1st Thessalonians 3:10

A government exists only for the common defense; individual freedom is sovereign and the government is the servant of the people

The Church NOT government should be doing social justice programs; we cannot abdicate our responsibility and evade our accountability to care for the sick, clothe the naked, feed the hungry and give drink to the thirsty onto Caesar. Furthermore, no matter how many good works we do on this Earth, we cannot create a Heavenly paradise and the poor we shall always have.
o   “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink? And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee? And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.’” Matthew 25:37-40
o   “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s” Matthew 22:21
o   “The poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.” John 12:8

The regulatory playing field must be leveled – only those regulations necessary to protect public health and safety should exist. Regulations for medicine, agriculture, transportation, energy, etc. are necessary only insofar as they protect the public from poison, disease, or accident.

No government handouts should ever be provided for any business or social justice program. Let each man compete fairly in the free market, and let the Church do Her duty in being the sheep who help the helpless instead of the goats who eschew giving such aid.

“Whenever the standard of freedom and independence has been or shall be unfurled, there will be America’s heart, her benedictions and her prayers. But she does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to freedom and independence for all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own. She well knows that by once enlisting other banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extradition, in all wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy and ambition which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom….She might become the dictress of the world but would no longer be ruler of her own spirit….Americans should not go abroad to slay dragons they do not understand in the name of spreading democracy.”

Hillaria Mala

Amici, Americani et Compatriotae,

I cannot withstand watching neither hearing this godless vile idolatrous woman of wickedness and depravity advocate baby murdering and sodomy sanctification. God had the dogs eat the corpse of Jezebel whose eunuchs threw her out of a 2nd floor window because she had righteous Naboth the Jezreelite murdered for his vineyard. What the heck does this witch of bloody murder and sexual perversion think is in store for her?

Livia started out immediately by advocating baby murdering and sodomy sanctification. I despise, loathe, abhor and detest her to the very bottom of the fabric of my being. I had to go into the other room as my Filipina wife continues to watch, fascinated at the low depths to which American politics have sunk. If Livia Drusilla Augusta Caesar is elected, then be prepared to do what the Maccabean brothers did to defend the Jews against the evil Seleucids. Mark my word - persecution will come with her victory. She would be the dictator that that proud feminist Rod Adams at Atomic Insights says is Donald Trump. (As a side note, do male feminists have testicles? Where has their manhood gone?)

I must now stop because I am too agitated. I cannot stop this insanity. I have no control over it. We see being repeated now what happened in ancient Judah and Israel as they rejected the Lord their God, and His response will be the same: attack and subjugation by our enemies. God is NOT a disinterested spectator in the events of human affairs. He will show mercy on unborn babies. Indeed, we always ask that God will have mercy, and His mercy for the innocent will be His justice on the heads of liberal progressive feminists.

Evan McMullin pro Praesidentia

Evan McMullin
Amici, Americani et Compatriotae,

As I am learning more about Evan McMullin, I am beginning to think that he is the best out of all the candidates. I am going to discuss the topics which interest me. You may discuss in the comment box those of interest to you.

Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton is an abortionist and a sodomy sanctifier, and she is ambivalent (agnostic were her words) with respect to nuclear energy.

Republican Donald Trump now states is he pro-life after having been an abortion supporter for years, and he is now silent about sodomite marriage but was once in favor of it. He is a fossil energy enthusiast and like most politicians has zero knowledge of nuclear energy.

Libertarian Gary Johnson is an abortionist and a sodomy sanctifier, and favors leaving the nuclear energy to the fate of the free market.

Green Jill Stein is an abortionist, a sodomy sanctifier, and an anti-nuke.

Constitutionalist Darrell Castle is pro-life and pro-sanctity of marriage, and is silent with respect to nuclear energy but would, based on his principles, leave it to the free market.

Independent Evan McMullin is pro-life. His position on sodomite marriage is not readily available, but based on his Mormon upbringing, he should likewise oppose it. He is silent on nuclear energy, but would likely favor leaving it to the free market.

Darrell Castle
Of all these, only two candidates are remotely acceptable: Darrell Castle and Evan McMullin. Of the political parties that these two represent, Darrell Castle's Constitution Party is the best for its platform which I would encourage the reader to review. And Darrel Castle has a respectable curriculum vitae.

Evan McMullin likewise has espoused reasonable principles which I would encourage the reader to review, and in the same manner has a respectable curriculum vitae, having served in the CIA for 10 years and having been in the House Committee on Foreign Affairs as a senior adviser and later the chief policy director of the House Republican Conference. Of the two, Mr. McMullin appears to be superior, but let the reader decide.

Let the reader beware, however. Clinton, Johnson and Stein all openly support and advocate what the Church has declared are intrinsic evils: abortion and sodomite marriage. While an authentic Christian (Catholic, Orthodox or Protestant) may rationalize in good conscience a vote for Trump based on his promise to appoint conservative Justices to SCOTUS who will support sanctity of life and sanctity of marriage, NO Christian may vote for any of the other three and still claim the title Christian. And because of my Christian conscience, my choice is narrowed to two, Castle and McMullin, of whom I prefer the later.

Quinquagesimi Numeri

Amici, Americani et Compatriotae,

Rod Adams has launched in his post American’s Nuclear (Power) Program Is Way Behind Russia’s another lengthy attack against Donald Trump without once mentioning the downright evil that is Hillary Rodham Clinton. Perhaps that liberal progressive feminist should consider the following post at the American Catholic blog: Fifty Points. Hillary Clinton covered up the sexcapades of her husband, former President Bill Clinton - his adulteries, his rapes, his abuses. Hillary Clinton let Americans get murdered by Islamic Jihadists in Benghazi, Libya. Hillary Clinton deliberately mishandled national security information and then deleted tens of thousands of email evidences.  Hillary Clinton has lied to the American public, and worst of all, Hillary Clinton advocates the murder of unborn babies right up until the moment of birth, and the sanctification of the filth of sterile sexual perversion. Yet Rod Adams cannot once mention a single negative about Hillary Clinton (though he claims he will vote for dope head Gary Johnson), yet finds all kinds of time to rail against Donald Trump as a new Adolf Hitler. Hey Rod, it's Hillary Clinton who said Christians must change their point of view. It's Hillary Clinton and her ilk who compel Catholic nuns to provide insurance for contraception against their beliefs and Catholic hospitals to provide abortions against the constant teaching of the Church. It's this kind of people who are Nazi dictators. Indeed, Adolf Hitler would blush green with envy to see the organ harvesting from unborn babies that Democrats in Planned Parenthood do. Nazism? Look at your own political movement - liberal progressive feminism. 50 points ahead indeed! What a wicked and adulterous generation that liberal progressive feminism has produced!

Donald Trump Quaesit Remissionem

Bill and Hillary
Adulterer and Murderess
Amici, Americani, et Compatriotae,

I was a nuclear submarine sailor some 40 years ago. The things we said when women were out of earshot are far beyond what Donald Trump said in that video in 2005. Get over it, you outraged liberal progressive feminists. As sailors we talked about fornicating with any woman we could and it was all fictional braggadocio. Bill Clinton - Hillary's husband - did exactly what we bragged about doing and never had done, and Hillary did everything she could to conceal his adultery while vilifying his victims. As a young lawyer she even defended a rapist and ruined the life of a young girl, his innocent victim.

I do NOT excuse Donald's language any more than mine of 40 years ago. And eventually at Confession I had to repent of my filthy mouth and clean it up. Further, if I ever did anything like what I bragged about doing, then my Filipina wife would do to me with the machete of retribution what St Paul told the agitators at the Church in Galatia to do to themselves in Galatians 5:12.

Now let's examine WHAT gives power to male machismo vulgarity. It is feminism - taking what is truly feminine in women and replacing it with equality in function. It is telling women that since they are equal in function with men, then they can wallow in heat and not have a baby. What does Pope Paul VI say about this in the 1st paragraph of section 17 in his encyclical Humanae Vitae?

Responsible men can become more deeply convinced of the truth of the doctrine laid down by the Church on this issue if they reflect on the consequences of methods and plans for artificial birth control. Let them first consider how easily this course of action could open wide the way for marital infidelity and a general lowering of moral standards. Not much experience is needed to be fully aware of human weakness and to understand that human beings—and especially the young, who are so exposed to temptation—need incentives to keep the moral law, and it is an evil thing to make it easy for them to break that law. Another effect that gives cause for alarm is that a man who grows accustomed to the use of contraceptive methods may forget the reverence due to a woman, and, disregarding her physical and emotional equilibrium, reduce her to being a mere instrument for the satisfaction of his own desires, no longer considering her as his partner whom he should surround with care and affection.

We should not expect women to be respected when we do not treat them equal in dignity but vainly try to make them equal in function. If we tell people that they can wallow in heat like a mindless non-sentient baboon, and we teach in public school that humans are nothing but apes evolved from chimpanzees and gorillas, then we should expect the mindless animal behavior that we see. Thus we see the consequences of liberal progressivism's removal of Judeo-Christian morality from the public square and replacement with the secularism of the religion of scientism. Oh the irony when it then complains that the inevitable happens: no limits on male machismo vulgarity.

This all said, now a note to any of you who may be liberal progressive Democrats. Get over your pretense at indignation and your false piety and your self-righteousness. None of us are without sexual sin. None. Not one. Certainly not you baby-murdering, contracepting pagan worshipers of eco-goddess Gaia. Donald Trump has repented and we are to accept it until proven otherwise. Bill and Hillary Clinton have NEVER EVER repented of their sexual filth and their murders. That's the difference. Grant forgiveness when forgiveness is asked, and punish the unrepentant.

Donald Trump Dicit Quod Bill Clinton Facit, sed Donald Quaesit Remissionem et Bill Mentitur de Eo

Amici, Americani et Compatriotae,

Donald Trump says what Bill Clinton does, but Donald apologies and Bill lies about it. Nevertheless, we must remember the lesson of 1st Samuel chapter 8, except with this difference. The two candidates whom we have for President simply reflect each side of our faces as a people whereas King Saul's face fully reflected his people.

Cyrus Magnus Persa

Image may contain: 1 person

Amici,
Cyrus the Great, a pagan Persian monarch who lived from about 600 to 530 BC, ruled over Persia (modern day Iran), Babylon (modern day Iraq), Asia Minor (modern day Turkey) and the rest of the Near East in the mid-sixth century before Christ was born. The Jewish prophet Isaiah says this about him in Sacred Scripture (44:28-45:7):
[The Lord] says of Cyrus, ‘He is my shepherd,
and he shall fulfil all my purpose’;saying of Jerusalem, ‘She shall be built,’and of the temple, ‘Your foundation shall be laid.’”Thus says the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus,
whose right hand I have grasped,
to subdue nations before him
and ungird the loins of kings,
to open doors before him
that gates may not be closed:
“I will go before you
and level the mountains,
I will break in pieces the doors of bronze
and cut asunder the bars of iron,
I will give you the treasures of darkness
and the hoards in secret places,
that you may know that it is I, the Lord,
the God of Israel, who call you by your name.
For the sake of my servant Jacob,
and Israel my chosen,
I call you by your name,
I surname you, though you do not know me.
I am the Lord, and there is no other,
besides me there is no God;
I gird you, though you do not know me,
that men may know, from the rising of the sun
and from the west, that there is none besides me;
I am the Lord, and there is no other.
I form light and create darkness,
I make weal and create woe,
I am the Lord, who do all these things.

Gubernatores Russiani Christiani Erant

Amici, Romani, Compatriotae,

Regardless of whether the recent flights of Russian jets violated Turkish airspace by less than 5 miles or not (something Turkish jets routinely do with impunity over Greek airspace), photographs of the belongings recovered from the murdered pilots of those jets reveal that they were Christian, as the one provided below shows. This was obtained from an article at the UK's Daily Mail. Clearly visible is a Cross or Crucifix (it appears shown from the back side) and an upside down small icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary with baby Jesus on a black rope.

Russian Pilot's
Christian Artifacts

What we know for certain is that Barack Hussein Obama as a liberal progressive Democrat ingratiates himself with Muslims, advocates the infanticide of the unborn and sanctifies the putrid filth of sterile sexual perversion, whereas Vladimir Putin for all his obvious and deplorable faults in having annexed the Crimea and having invaded Ukraine yet openly defends Christian Orthodoxy in the Middle East and basic Christian sexual morality at home and abroad. So the question is this: do we side with Muslim Turks and liberal progressive President Obama, or with the Christians? Sometimes the question really has to be that simple in order to elicit the only logical and correct answer. And pray for the repose of the souls of the pilots whom the Muslims murdered, and for the consolation of their families.

Verbis Falsis a Rod Adams aput Acuitates Atomicas

Amici, Romani, Compatriotae,

Once again Rod Adams, the blogmagister at Atomic Insights, disseminates propaganda instead of facts. In the post entitled, "Nuclear Innovation Alliance formally launched," he states in part:

"Some observers have sounded almost jealous of the apparent successes of countries like China, Russia and South Korea in nuclear technology because they have autocratic governments that can decide to invest in deployment without much public opposition. Though I don’t believe that the free market can solve all problems, I’m also not willing to be a subject of an autocratic regime."

First, South Korea does NOT have an autocratic government, unlike communist North Korea. The South Korean government is a Republic with the typical three branches of Legislative, Executive and Judiciary. It holds free elections. It has free enterprise economy. It has freedom of religion and of speech.

Second, of course the free market cannot solve all problems, but unlike socialist economies, the free market creates far fewer problems. Indeed, under the free market a man is entitled to keep as his own possession what he honestly earns by his own labors whereas in a socialist economy what a man honestly earns is stolen from him by the government for redistribution to those who refuse to earn. Invariably it is politicians who do the redistribution with the same cry as Judas Iscariot in twelfth chapter of the Gospel of St John, "This oil could have been sold and the proceeds used for the poor." But the Gospel writer reminds us that he said this not because he cared for the poor but because he carried the money purse and would steal therefrom. That is precisely like every liberal progressive politician in whom Rod Adams would have us place our trust.

Third, while Rod Adams asserts that he is unwilling to be the subject of an autocratic regime, he has proudly stated elsewhere that he voted for Barack Hussein Obama as President twice. Apparently to Rod Adams, what President Obama and liberal progressive Democrats in general do is not autocratic:

  • Force religious organizations to embrace the contraceptive mandate contrary to their conscience.
  • Violate the Constitution with executive order after executive order
  • Force on the nation the normalization of the sickening perversion of sodomy and lesbianism
  • Finance Planned Parenthood's infanticide of the unborn and the sale of the internal organs of babies on the open market
  • Compel public schools to permit sexually disturbed boys to use the girls' locker room under the pretext of equal opportunity for transgender sexual perverts.

People like this cannot be trusted with the power of the atom. They are as evil and as dangerous as Al Qaeda, Hamas and ISIS. What they do is what their Nazi forbearers did before them, and for such crimes against humanity those Nazis were tried in court at Nuremberg, and when found guilty were justly condemned to the fate that all wicked men merit.
